Active kids are happy kids

For kids ages 7 to 12, CrossFit Kids training develops physical abilities, social skills and self-confidence. This program prepares kids for sports by making them fitter and more coordinated, or provides an alternative for kids who are not interested in competitive sports or traditional team sports.

It’s also great for developing good motor patterns, balance, and a positive attitude toward challenges. At the very least, we keep things fun and the kids moving. Kids who view exercise as a fun activity are more likely to exercise for life which means enjoying benefits well into adulthood too.

What can you expect?

  • 30 minute training session offered 3 times per week (M, W, F at 1515)

  • Workout brief (purpose and goals)

  • Structured warm up

  • Skill development and practice

  • Workout scaled so that each child is safely and appropriately challenged

  • Post workout game in included for fun but also to challenge kids in a variety of different ways

A growing body of evidence supports the belief that kids who follow a regular regime of vigorous, organised exercise activity are able to focus on, understand and retain academic information more easily too.
